Kingfisher Windows Leeds - Any experience of them?

Hi,

I am in need of some new double glazing and I have got quotes from several companies both local and national. As I don't know anyone who has had windows done to get a word of mouth recommendation, I am relying on reviews others have posted here and on the which? site.

Kingfisher windows have quoted me £5800 for 10 windows and a composite door with side panels, which I think is reasonable. However I don't know anything about the company - they have been going about 25 years, fensa registered etc. But when I google them I can only find 3 reviews of their work.

Has anyone had experience of this company? I don't want to just go on price, but I am on a budget so don't want to pass up the quote if they are a good company.

Many thanks for your views.

Yup, would recommend these to supply/fit windows doors if you are happy with the prices
Have bought windows and doors from them for over 15 years, never had any problems so far.
The one time we had a problem with the beads, they came out the same day and sorted it out for us,.
I have tried various other local suppliers, often a bit cheaper, but have always had the niggling problem, wrong bits, missing bits, late delivery, etc, so even though they may not be the cheapest, they are now the only ones I buy from

Type the name in google, no complaints online = a good firm, you will soon flag up a bad one.

Only think I could find is window fitters talking about how hard it is to get a job with them due to them only employing top fitters in the game on top money.
    Be happy...;)

I haven't used Kingfisher but nothing I've seen would put me off using them.

I have used Leeds Glass though for 6 windows and a door and would recommend them if you don't get what you're looking for from Kingfisher.
