hi all I think it is about time I sorted out my ppi claim but I have a big problem I for the life of me can not think of the name of the firm which I had the secured loan with I had to remortgage to repay them I think it may be ge money or first national so would it be easier to send a sar letter to my mortgage company and would all the details be on the paper work they hold on me have the account numbers and company details

The mortgage company won't necessarily have your old loan details. You really need ot remember who it was.
It wont hurt to ask, but be prepared ot be disappointed. You have no statements from then?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
