    Hello Joe
£159 sounds fine to me -- does that include all of the relevant insurances, i.e CDW ?

a Corolla is quite a small car, will it be big enough for your purposes ?

    Price includes CDW
    THEFT PROTECTION
    3rd PARTY LIABILITY
    UNINSURED MOTORISTS PROTECTION
    ADDITIONAL DRIVER
    HOMELAND FEE
    AIRPORT SURCHARGE
Only two of us so hoping boot should be big enough, seen a ford fusion for £162 and a Chevrolet impala for £165

Rental cars is just an agent, your contract will not be with them. Is there any way of finding out who you will be renting with, personally having rented in San Diego numerous times I would avoid Thifty and Dollar which is on their list of possible suppliers. I would also agree that even for two people I would recommend an 'Intermediate' sized vehicle, you will feel the Corolla is really small as you are driving southbound on the I-5 towards of San Diego

Checked on Google maps on the address they give for pick up and it's national car rental checked on site and corrola is classed as intermediate , could it be they have an American version .?

The Impala is a nice piece of kit ;). Chevy are marketing it as a fullsize now. It would make your motoring a lot more pleasant :D
  • I think £165 is really a suitable price for me and it is really giving me the right deals to have in.

I have rented through rentalcars many times nearly always end up with Dollar (not in san diego) whats the problem with Dollar?

OP it could be any car, you wont be gteed any particular model and an intermediate should be fine for your purposes. If you have the choice of 2 door or 4 door and the 2 door is cheaper, go for that as you will still get the 4 door as I have never seen a 2 door for hire (other than a convertable)
