Complaint about private healthcare provider?

Hi all,
Have no idea where I should post this question, so if it is in the wrong place I'm sorry
A friend has recently made a complaint about the service received when she had her private 4D scan. The complaint isn't about the scan itself, but about how she was treated by a staff member.
She has received a response to her complaint, but she's not happy with it at all. Does anybody know who she can progress the complaint to (e.g. an Ombudsman)? I believe that the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman would be unable to assist, as it only deals with complaints about government departments, public organisations and the NHS in England?
Thanks in advance for any assistance with this!

If the complaint is one of misconduct, the staff member's professional body is likely to have a complaints procedure (assuming it is a clinician she is complaining about).
Difficult to advise without knowing the nature of the complaint, and what she wants the outcome to be.0
