Unblocking shower drain - no plunger or drain access?

My shower has become blocked up that it fills up straight from the go. Unfortunately I have no access to the drain so I can't open it up, to make it more difficult I can't get a plunger around it. The plug is right up in the corner of the tray with rather large grooves around it.
What do people recommend to unblock it? I think its mostly just hair and scum, however I've tried a hanger etc down there and I think the blockage is further down.
I've tried Mr Muscle Sink & Drain Unblocker which works for a little bit and then the problem comes back. I've read that some people put Baking Soda & Vinegar down there or Cola?
Any suggestions appreciated!

Not sure about shower drains, but I sometimes put vinegar down the kitchen sink - I believe it helps remove some of the grease, but not sure about actually unblocking it if it's blocked ....0

Get some caustic soda crystals from the pound shop. Follow the instructions on the back and pour it down the drain. It has worked fo me every time.0

I know you mention you have no access to the drains but what about the pipe that exists the external wall to the drain?
Had the same problem a few months back and it was a simple case of pulling off the end of the pipe from another pipe and clearing my wife's hair that had run into the plug hole.
This pipe was about 30 feet back to the shower but the blockage had built that far away.
Good luck.0 -

Go to a plumbers merchants and buy a bottle of drain unblocker called 'Melt'. It's what the trade uses and it is excellent. It literally melts organic material in your waste pipes etc.
But read the instructions first!Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
