'forgotten' Nationwide current account

Hey!

I am in need of another current account, this is just to put away earnings from a second job so I can keep it separate as the money is for something in particular. Instead of opening a new account, I realised I have a current account with Nationwide that I have not used for about 3 years. I have nothing in there (well 3p), but I thought I would start using this again. The problem is, I have the debit card but that is all I have. I don't know any pin (most likely forgot!) and no details for online banking (I think I did sign up to it but this was years ago) does anyone know the process I take to start claiming back my account and being able to use it? I don't really want to give the employer my bank details for this new account until I know I can use it.

thank you!

David

Just call telephone banking and ask them to send you a new pin and ask how you can re-register for online banking.

If it's an old FlexAccount you might want to consider upgrading it to the FlexDirect at the same time and earning some interest from it, currently 5% for 12 months
