If you work under 16 hours you may sign for JSA. However anything over £5 would be deducted from your entitlement, so you may not receive any payment.0

You can't get JSA if you're working 16 hours a week.
You are unlikely to get any help with housing costs if you're living at home.0 -
Just phoned the boss and he said i would be working for 12 hours a week so thats 3 days a week/4 hours a day
Im sure i can get JSA with that amount of hours...0 -

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I want some benefits. I earn £28k a year, but have to pay full rent and CT out of that. Travel costs £90 a month!!! Plus, I like, NEED new handbags every month and like eating out and make up. Also, I have two dogs to support. Can I like, get the equivalent of child benefit for dogs (doggy benefit?). Failing that, will the Government pay for my Cineworld card? It costs me £15 a month.
Thanks!0 -
So what if i work only one day a week and get £40 and i get £113.60 every two weeks from JSA so in total ill be getting £73.60 every two weeks or £33.60?0
