No waterparks nearby though (well not then)
There are actually 2! One is over near Terra Mitica theme park called Aqua Natura and then Aqualandia which is up behind the Mediterrano Hotel on Av. Rincon de Loix. This one is nearly 30 years old though so it must have a been a long time ago that you went? :)

No its not. Its in Rincon de Loix. Thats the far end of Levante,
If u particularly want to be near the old Town then really you could not get much further.

Nice hotel though and opposite Benidorm Palace and Benidorm circus. Aqualandia is just up a hill behind it too.
But as the above says, it's going to be a long walk (although not impossible) to the Old Town. About 2 mile i think.

Personally I love Benidorm - it has all I want.

Sun, clean beaches, cheap prices, good entertainment.

And a short flight from UK. You do have to look out for pickpockets etc. One idiot tried to dip my husband's pocket while handing him a leaflet and ended up with a broken wrist for his trouble.

There are a few acts you wouldn't want to take the kids to, but they are usually indicated on their publicity posters as not for the easily offended.

Benidorm's my favourite place in the world, but my daughter - who's a bit snobby - hates it. One reason being that you have to sit on plastic chairs in bars...!

I agree that Benidorm has something for everyone, no matter what age.

There are the nightspots for the louder entertainment, being of the older variety, we spent our time in the Old Town, which is lovely. Nice little bars are hidden away, really nice.

Clean beaches, a cheap local bus ride to Altea, all feature.

Can't speak for hotels, obviously, everyone must do their own research.

Believe me, there are a lot worse places than Benidorm!

Wouldnt go at the height of summer though as prefer Majorca where its a bit more laid back but thats just me

    Plenty to do

    To name but a few

There is some dodgy hotels with very bad reports but thats no different to any holiday resort
Try looking at any of the servigroup hotels
    http://www.servigroup.com/en/hoteles/hoteles.html
Their food and hotels are some of the best in Benidorm and they will throw in free transfers from the airport

If you decide to go ahead ask here first about the hotel
Suggest you let us know what you like to do on a holdiay then that will help decide if its for you

I see you always go in October? We are planning a few days here for our first ever benidorm trip but what's the weather usually like then? Looking online it says 20 average?? If that's the case I think we'll poss head hotter?

We have been when its 25+ but also been when its rained everyday
October is always hit and miss
    Have a nice day :)
  • I have been to Benidorm before. Never again!!! It's a resort full of hen/stag parties and fat topless men with masses of fake gold!!! Really not the sort of place I enjoy spending time.

Blackpool with sun really is a perfect description. Don't know about budgetflyer saying it caters for everybody, but it certainly caters for every chav.
