possible a really stupid question, but.....
as the title says - can i just take out the cupboard that my integrated frdige freezer sits in, trim the kick board and put in a free standing tall fridge?
it sits nexts to the integrated cooker if that complicates things - I know thats not an ideal citing but that was the only space for the firgde and cooker when we put them in 7 years ago - now the fridge freezer has died and we don't really want another one due to having a separate chest freezer.
thanks

Provided the fridge can fit in the space, the only issue you may have is when the oven is on, the compressor in the fridge may start to keep the fridge cool as the surrounding environment gets warmer. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0

i've been googling - always a bad sign! and i can't find the exact answer - do i have the option of putting an integrated tall fridge in the existing housing - using the 2 doors that cover the fridge freezer?
i can't find my exact doors in tinternet anywhere - does a tall integrated fridge need one tall door?
sorry - warned about the stupid bit!0 -
Hmm...you mention a free-standing fridge in your first post but now you mention an integrated fridge in your second post?
I believe you can have an integrated tall fridge that attaches to two cupboard doors. I think there are some connecting strips to link the doors so they open simultaneously. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -

You could do that, but then would you not also have to make good the floor covering?
There could also be joining holes in the adjacent units that might look unsightly.
A tall integrated fridge can easily use the 2 existing doors, just link them together with a couple of plastic or metal flat plates before fitting them to the fridge.0 -

I have a tall integrated fridge with 2 doors, they are joined together with some kind of linking plate and then attached to the fridge as normal.0
