Where's the nearest static caravan park to London? Looking to visit during the hols and wondered whether this would be a better option than a Travelodge. Or perhaps not!

Have a look at roydon marina about 30 mins n/e of London in the lea valley country park.

I have stayed before at a holiday lodge at a Camping and Caravanning Club site called Theobalds Park that was about 15 miles outside London.

I'm not sure how the price compares to a Travelodge as I didn't go during the summer, but it might be worth looking at!

Theobalds Park sounded great - however, the lodges there only sleep 4! Back to the drawing board.
