Tax credits renewal problem

Well time is running out and we still haven't managed to complete our tax credits renewal despite attempting to for several weeks. I have all my total earnings and my partner who is employed hasnt. The company he works for runs a system where you access your pay details on line which never works despite a whole password saga system he has contacted his line manager regarding this and is meant to be giving a print off of his pay details on sunday so I can submit them. However given the all the problems to access his pay details so far I am pretty sure that there will be another reason on sunday why he cant have them.
I dont really know what to do if we dont submit them by monday the tax credits will stop we really rely on that money . Am really worried does anyone have any advice?

Why didn't they give your partner a P60?
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.
  • Have you rung the helpline and asked what you should do?

thank you for your replies. I have rang them for advice and the result was they were unableto answer the call. I havent tried the cab yet though. The p60 are accessible on line along with the pay slips x

You can ring up, explain the situation and ask them to finalise it on an estimate OR they may be able to pull the figures off the PAYE system for you. If you provide an estimate, you have until January 2014 to give an actual figure. Obviously, if you get your estimate massively wrong, it may have an affect on payments etc. but better than getting your money stopped altogether.

I have this problem in that my wage slips are accessable online as is the P60 but I can only log in through the intranet system at work (local council education) so when the school I work in is off on holidays I can't access my wage slips, even before the change to online the wage slips were sent to the place of work and not home so again I would not be able to access my most recent payslip dated 14th July until August 14th when our schools reopen.

I think the right to a printed or written wage slip is the law ?
I stand to be corrected but I am not aware of any changes.
    Be happy...;)

I know that my local authority (Scotland) all council employees in this area are gradually being moved over to the online version which when you do log in to view gives the option to print a copy so I assume that is how they get around the right to a printed wage slip.
