A quick run through the story so far!
A guy from Openreach visited my house out-of-the-blue in January 2010 in relation to a telephone pole in my garden. He said it was dangerous and needed to be removed. He also added as it didn't serve my property it shouldn't be in my garden anyway.
In October 2011 I had another visit from a sub-contractor who had been instructed to come and assess the situation. He agreed with the first guy.
On 12th April 2013 I emailed Openreach to find out the state of play as I want to do some work next to the pole (didn't want to start work until after the pole had been removed). I received a response stating that somebody would get in touch with me 'within 25 working days'. No response!
Telephoned Openreach 2 weeks ago. Spoke to somebody who assured me I would receive a call this last week. Surprise, surprise, no call received.
Does anybody know of a postal address I send my complaint to? I've searched all over their website and can't find one.

BT openreach seem to avoid any facing of the public. After a little trawl of their website for a contact address, most people would lose the will to live.
The site does suggest that you write to them at their registered office.
This page http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/submitFeedback.do?contactReason=remove_relocate_external_network_equipment refers. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
BTO is a wholly-owned division of BT plc, whose primary address is 81 Newgate Street, London. As the outfit is not customer-facing, (and you are not their customer) take it up with the organ grinder and not the monkey!0

Thank you both - will give the London address a go.0
