Cheap Energy Club - NPower Switch (Not)

Options
I switched to NPower on 14 June through the club, hadnt heard anything and I know it takes a few weeks so left it until I returned from holiday. Returned on Sunday, on Monday I received a call from N Power advising there had been a problem with the switch through the site and could he run through new tariffs with me. He couldnt tell me what the problems were and when I said he could tell me what the tariffs were then I would look at the rest of the market he hung up!

Now I have to start all over again and my current supplier has increased costs so my early good planning was completely pointless!

Anyone else had similar problems or know what the problems with the process from CEC are?

From what you say, it doesn't sound like there was any issue with the CEC, but rather with nPower themselves.

Are you sure the call was from nPower? I ask because they won't gain many customers if they go and put the phone down on those who are seeking to move to them.
Employees who sign up new customers also usually see a bonus in their paypacket. Perhaps the one who called you found out he's just the the euro-millions?

Surely you remember what tariff you signed up to???

    Hi Helly64,

It seems a bit odd that you weren't given any explanation as to why your switch to npower couldn't go through.

Could you pop me an email with your details (address is on my profile page) on so I can take a look into this please?

    Many thanks,

    Adam :)
