when trying to use ebay keeps coming up with security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view security alert says information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others there is a problem with the sites security what can i do to stop this happening it says certificate expired

Without punctuation it's difficult to read which is the error quotation, and which is your post. But my first suggestion would be to clear the internet cache, eg http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=472387.

Either quote the message exactly, or post a screen shot of it.

Make sure you're signing in from http://www.ebay.co.uk/ and check that the computer's date and time are correct in bottom right corner.
