ATW options - does it exist ?

I work part time and 2 years ago - was given a special seat by ATW - I have requested a reassessment to see if ATW can provide me with a small handheld device to act as a memory aid - it must be fast booting and rechargeable battery powered..
It needs to have a normal keyboard - not touch screen and a small display screen - I am not looking for a communications device - just something that I can use like an electronic pen and paper....
Does such a device exist ?

You are going to struggle to find something with a keyboard which is small and fast booting.
Are you unable to use a pen and paper?0 -

No - my hands don't do what my brain tells them to do !!0 -
You don't need something fast booting.
Something that suspends will do just fine.
If your hands won't do what you tell them - can you actually deal with a small keyboard?0 -

Yes - I have a Samsung note phone and in the past have used a Nokia E90 phone - with a tiny "real" keyboard
My Samsung has not got a good enough battery life to leave on 24/7 either - and about 30 secs boot time is too long.
My problem is the actual process of writing legibly (no feedback to the brain)
What I need is something that I can grab and use within seconds0 -

You don't need it on 24/7, as soon as you finish work it can go back on charge again?
You can get a high capacity battery for the Note - I have one for the S2 and the extended use you get from it is very impressive. Amazon do them for less than £10.0 -
