Where to go?

What are the chances of doing a week long trip to chicago or boston cheaply for the last week in June? We're stuck for holiday ideas but think it'd be q good there staying in a central hotel flying from the midlands preferably. Is there and Amercian equivalent of Canadian Affair? as I know they have good deals for Eastern Canada.

The other idea is northern Italy, maybe close to Venice but not venice.

Has anyone got any ideas - we're stuck! lol. Thought of these places because we dont really want france/germany or any sort of resort hol and we went to Rome last year.

It'd be 4 adults and the last week in June is best give or take a couple of days.

Think you will be lucky to pick up cheap flights to Boston or Chicago for June although there are some offers that end 30 June. Have a look at https://www.cheapflights.co.uk to see a selection of offers.

The only midlands to east coast USA scheduled flights I know of are:
BA Manchester - New York https://www.ba.com
Continental Airlines Birmingham - New York https://www.continental.com

If you fancy Italy how about this:
    Thomson Holidays https://www.thomson.co.uk
Tuscan Riviera (Not quite North Italy but nice)
Coventry to Pisa 23rd June (dept 06:55)
    1 week half Board 3* £692 for 2 (online saving £448)
Eur Hotel - Lido di Camaiore

    Hi monkeyspanner.
I'll pop over to cheapflights now then.
Had a quick look at the thompson suggestion but it looks quite resorty not the sort of thing we'd go for - we're the sort to go out and about and see places rather than be in a hotel's grounds. I'm sure others might value your suggestion though so thanks.
Do you know any more flight sales on anywhere?
    Anyone else got any suggestions?
