Can I claim Anything??

On the 17th of last month, I resigned working at my job as a security guard as there was no steady work. (I was only getting a day or two a week).
I use to get 60 hours a week, but the site i was on finished so i was a floater (covering if someone doesn't turn in or on holiday)

I don't know if I can claim anything and I haven't yet tried to.
As I don't know were to start.

I have applied for quite a few jobs. Just waiting on some replies.

I am a bit worried now as my bills are due at the end of the month.

any advice please??

How old are you Peter because that makes a bit of a difference.

First point of call though would be the job centre for JSA. They may sanction you for leaving your job - but if you can prove how little hours they were offering then I can't see the sanction being too long.
