Valuation

Been informed today that the earliest countrywide can do a valuation on the property we're trying to purchase is the same week we're supposed to exchange contracts (28 day exchange as probate and corporate client). I have read about maybe being able to use a different surveyor who is on either countrywide or nationwides panel of surveyors. Anyone know if this is actually possible to do and where to find a list of surveyors?

Apologies if its a stupid question but we're first time buyers and this is all knew to us. Can't explain how much its stressing us out now

Just hastlethem and get it done asap.

'28 days' is not a rigid deadline.

Do you really think the seller (bank?) is going to refuse todeal with you from day 29, and start looking for anew buyer? Especially as they are still looking for other buyers anyway!
