Anchoring a duvet on a bed

Can anyone help, I am exhausted keep getting up in the night to my 3 year old who cries as if he is being murdered just because his blanket has come off his bed.
We are just about to move him into his grown up bed in readiness for a siblings arrival in a few months time, and he has a lovely duvet set that he has chosen.
My question is, is there a contraption that will enable me to anchor the duvet on the bed to stop it from slipping down in the night?
Thanks

For many years i used to put my sons duvet on sideways, and tuck half of it in, it mostly worked. I remember the days well.Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

i used a double duvet on my sons single bed, and tucked the one side under one side of the mattress, so it couldnt move.0

I would have done this, except he is really excited about his new room of cars, which the duvet has the starring role!0 -

What a fabulous idea. I wonder if they make double bed size.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

Couple of old nappy pins might do the same job at little or no cost.0
