BarclayCard security breech

hi
whilst trying to get back ppi from BarclayCard they sent me the private information of someone who has the same name as me. Now I know their mothers maiden name, dob, job, bank account dets, etc etc.
I've contacted BCard numerous times via phone, email and letter to alert them but as yet no-one from BCard has got in touch.
I'm astonished and concerned that I may be in trouble - obviously I've got in touch with the other person to let them know their details have been leaked but where do I go from here, I don't have the time to keep calling BCard to point out their massive errors but would like answers too.
Thanks in advance if any one can help.

Someone is going to be getting a nasty shock soon.
This has to be reported to their business information risk officer and fully investigated.
Will cost then a few £££ as well as they have to report this onto the authorities.
I would ring them back. State that you are COMPLAINING as you have received a letter addressed to someone else full of their details ( do not let them resolve it till you have received a full response as to what has happened). That way it is logged on the system and has to be replied too.
Not sure why they would be putting all that info into a PPI letter though.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

You bring a magnificent sense of drama to the evening browse.
It's like watching a person, who knows what he's talking about, let rip into all the incompetency of people who work in similar departments and are supposed to know what they're doing. They should make a TV series out of it.0 -

hell the length of the learning module you have to do, on this subject in unreal....
ANYONE working in the bank. HAS to know how to deal with this.
The fact that the OP has contacted them "numerous times via phone, email and letter" shows a total lack of understand of the regulations.
I hope the Op has copies and dates of these as they could be onto a £££ bonus here

ha ha - wow,
anyway, yes I've noted every time, who I spoke to an how often I've called, letters I sent recorded and emails, well......
the reason they sent me the other persons dets was because they were saying I had NO ppi on BarclayCard and sent a photocopy of the other persons application which has all the info I mentioned above, so yes that person has no ppi but this person does.0 -
