Start new job in another city of england on the last day of the working month. When should i relocate? If i start August 30th should i be starting my tenancy contract on 15th say, give myself 2 weeks to get orientated to the local town?

I stayed with a relative for a couple of weeks when I got a new job, then three or four weeks after starting moved house closer.0 -
You might not actually have a choice with this, as LL will stipulate when the property is available, when tenancy will start etc. Many LLs like to start tenancy agreements on the 1st of the month for instance, or allign them for rent to be paid a few days before their mortgage payments are due.
Its a good plan if you can make it work, but be prepared to compromise if the LL wants a different start date.0
