    Wrong time of year to buy, your best bet would be Sept/Oct just before they kick everyone off for 3 months.

    Sorry but your wrong there, it's both, Porthkerry Park is as you said a public park and there's Porkerry Caravan Park which can be reached on foot from the public park or reached by car through Rhoose, just at the back of the airport. It's a small and very nice caravan park where my folks have had thier caravan for the last 17 years.

    That;s because you were at Porthkerry Park which is a wildlife haven NOT PORTHKERRY HOLIDAY PARK which is on the top of the cliff and is approached either by climbing the path or driving towards Rhoose and turning off by the Airport - get your facts right before you comment !
