Broken Aerial Essex

I have a Ford Focus 05. A while back someone snapped the aerial off my car so not been able to use it for a couple of years. Does anyone know anyone in Brentwood/Basildon/Romford/Chelmsford area that could replace aerial for me for a reasonable price?

    Buy one here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Fiesta-MK4-5-6-95-08-Ford-Focus-MK1-98-05-Screw-on-Roof-Aerial-with-Base-/300938713920?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4611585b40

Check the part above is the same as yours.

Simply remove interior light and there is a screw above.

Undo screw, remove old aerial and fit the new one. 5 min job.
  • Thank you sounds like even a 5ft numpty like me might be able to do this. And it's really that easy?

No, he's having you on ! You have to get those big hydraulic cutters (like the fire brigade use) and remove the roof completely to get at that screw.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Really? Oh dear, where do I get one of those? Nearly fallen at first hurdle because didn't know how to remove light cover!

Got to ask... why does the lack of aerial stop you using your car???? :D

Its just clips out. Use a flat head screwdriver on the side of it.

And don't you feel slightly less helpless now? ;)

It's not about fixing a problem, it's about giving people the confidence to go off and TRY and in future save money
