Anyone used Upad?

Hi

We are looking for a letting agent and this company looks good from their website...has anyone got any experience of using them?

Thanks in advance

    Thanks for the response

It is a new property to us and with such expensive LA fees we were going to use an online company so I was really fishing to see if they were as good as they appeared and value for money compared to others.....they are way cheaper than a high street agent and their costs for tenants seem better too....just wondering if it was all a bit to good to be true

I want to meet the tenants for myself and am happy to deal with the administration of the tenancy but really just want to use their advertising and referencing service

It's a way of getting ads on all the property sites, which you can't do directly, and has worked pretty well for me a couple of times.
I've been less happy with their tenant checking etc and will probably go elsewhere for that in future.
Many of their other services seem overpriced.

Yes we have used them after recommendations from this forum. I was looking to self manage our BTL flat but still wanted to advertise it on Rightmove, etc. I found them very straight forward and easy to use and would use them again should I need to advertise for let again. They were not the cheapest at the time but I liked the fact that they would advertise until the property was let (for the same price), although I believe they now have a 90 day limit.
  • thinking of using upad - anyone else used them recently or can recommend any other on line orgs?

We used them around 6 months ago and found a tenant through them. They were fine and obviously a lot cheaper than using a letting agent. The only thing I would say was that I didn't like the the person we were assigned as he was encouraging us to put the kitchen as the first photo instead of the front of the house but we didn't listen to him. We did our own credit checking so can't comment on that.
