Aircon causing misty patches?

    It's worth checking that the pollen filter isn't damp/ancient (it can really improve your blowers efficiency too if you change it, it's a simple job on most cars, last one I changed was full of leaves and detritus), and I've always found that using glass cleaner and newspaper/kitchen towel on the inside of the screen to really give it a good clean can lessen the build up of condensation. Filthy screens mist up far quicker and take longer to demist.

    Hot windscreen. Ice cold aircon directed at it.. CRACK!!!

    Aircon should be into the cabin not onto the screen.

    Its due to the high humidity we are experiencing. Aircon is cooling the glass causing the moisture to condensate. Exactly the same as putting a cold drink into a glass in warm weather.
