A lot of the Panasonic phones block numbers but not International or Withheld numbers.
There is this as well

If any of your personal callers use a dial through service eg call1899, then many times these come through as international and would be blocked.
Also I cannot see how it can block VOIP calls as these can be forged numbers as well.0 -
Just buy a phone with a display and an answer machine. If you don't recognise the name/number just let it go to the answer machine. They aren't wasting your time, but you are wasting theirs - and they NEVER leave a message.
I've got a Panasonic cordless which does block numbers as well.0 -
I've got a Panasonic phone which is a bit cheapo but it accesses your phone book and announces who is calling ("Call from MUM") - which is quite useful if you are deciding whether or not to rush across the room to answer it!0

The Panasonics (most of them) will block all calls and only allow people on your whitelist -the rest go to the answering machine (or you can truly block them and the phone will not light up and they will get an engaged tone -need caller ID for the blocking). Obviously you can't have any other phones in the house or they will ring no matter the Panasonic's settings.
Just set the phone to Nightmode eg 2359 to 2358. Anyone in your contacts gets through.

That BT set seems OK but you can only block 10 specific numbers (30 with Panasonic).
The Pansonics have changed my home life. Quite incredible to get peace and quiet and only get calls you need or want to get.0
