    As a new user, I am unable to post links.

    I did a search on the ACAS website lead to a fill in the blanks template of a contract of employment. Might be worth a look.

    That's great. I think i've covered all of that :)
    What is the standard sick pay? I've always been paid it in the past but have only had the odd days here and there.
    i have spoken to a friend of mine who gets this;
    26 weeks full pay sick
    26 weeks half pay
    statatory sick pay thereafter

    Does that sound about right?
    That sounds very generous: ask what their policy is, you may find it's SSP from the start.
