Using Unchipped Canon Inkjet Cartridges

I bought this printer a while back now, not realising Canon had completely sewn up their monopoly on ink cartridges by chipping them in a way no one else seemed able to beat. I've now just spotted (thanks to Martin's weekly money tips) that INKredible are doing unchipped cartridges for this printer at way cheaper prices :j
Anyone have any experience of their cartridges for this printer? Or with INKredible for that matter? It's the CLI-8 series of Canon cartridges for this printer. I don't want to use cartridges that mess up my printer.
