Do Aldi accept Credit Cards/Cheques/Healthy start vouchers?
Aldi stores accept cash, Maestro, Delta, Solo and Electron card only. Visa and Master Card credit cards are accepted in Scottish and selected Welsh stores only. In line with many other retailers we no longer accept cheques in store.
That might be what it says but considering the fact I used my Capital One at an Aldi a few weeks ago, there are some exceptions.0 -

You don't need to take credit cards to take contactless cards. There are plenty of contactless debit cards.0
