Hi all,
Currently have a problem with our Vauxhall Astra x reg, it seems to be stuttering/hopping in low revs, like when it's pulling away from a junction etc.
Since this started happening, our mechanic has looked at it and scratched his head. He has had it in for a full service thus changing the plugs etc, had it in to clean the lines etc and even plugged it in to the diagnostic machine, but no diagnoses was showing!
Funnily enough we had the same thing happen with our old Renault Meganne but could never find what was wrong with it.
Anyone able to possibly shed some light on this?
Many thanks all in advance

Engine type/size?
Idle control valve (if it has one), if not try a little WD40 down into the throttle body butterfly valve.
The EGR valve (sends part of the exhuast gas back into the engine to meet EU emission requirements for new cars).
Obvious stuff like fuel and air filter.
Coil packs.
Lambda sensor (had this on my old Peugeot and nobody seemed to be able to diagnose it).“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
