3rd time with Error applying for RBS/LLoyds credit card!!!

Has anyone else had the issue of applying for RBS or LLoyds credit card, getting the full way through the application, credit limit given, congratulations page, balance transfer input, then electronically signing the agreement then it crashing and giving an error message CAO-EXT-1RBS... This is the third attempt over a few months!! i have a good credit rating and abour 2 or 3 months ago had this happen, called them up, and they compensated me with £50 and said they would clear the searches from my credit file, however, i would have to wait 30 days until i could apply again for the same rate. Its driving me mad!! i just want to transfer my blance over to a new card and keep getting nowhere! due to system errors or similar. :mad:

What browsing are you using? Have you tried to using Safari or Chrome?0 -

If the application is being accepted then surely they can complete it and issue the card when you call? It seems a bit unlikely that if the application is being properly accepted that they don't just offer to send it out when you phone them.Oh, you wee bazza!0

stick to chrome or IE for applications. and maybe the -1 versions for FF and Safari.
There is a lot of interaction with the browser on the applications process, and if browser vendors create 'new' functionality, not all the pages may be able to handle it.
Same trouble with older (-2 or 3 version) pages will have been upgraded to cope with new functionality and older browsers are not always compatible.
if you hunt around, there is probably even an info page in the RBS/Lloyds website that lists compatible browsers.0
