Admin fees

I know agencies charge admin fees for credit checks and for inventories but are they allowed to charge a fee for administering the deposit? Also is there and set rate they are allowed to get away with on any of the above?

In England and Wales, yes they can charge as they like; and what is more they like to get away with charging both Landlord and Tenant.0
