Interantional Standard or Global Priority

I have sold a bit of equipment to a European, I dont have a problem with sending abroad. They asked for a price and I said 40 odd and 50 odd depending on International Standard or Global, I didn't expect them to win!!! As it doubles the price!
Now I shall get an exact price tomorrow, it was too big/heavy to take in to get weighed and take back home when you use shanks pony for transport!!
Now should I go or the other, I know that global is fully tracked, is that better for me as the seller?
Any suggestions? Words of wisdome from you?

You only need tracking if you accept a reversable payment method like PayPal. If you are paid by a non-reversable payment method like BIC + IBAN bank transfer (free of fees) then you should insure the item so in the unlikely event it's damaged or lost you can refund the buyer.
With a heavy item (30kg+) you may not be able to send by International Standard or Global."Money is truthful. If a person speaks of their honour, make sure they pay in cash."0 -

If it's a decent size package it might be worth using interparcel or similar rather than the postoffice?
You still get tracked services but it might well be quicker and cheaper. The money, Dave...0 -
I work in a PO so easier for me, however as every one charges a frotune to deliver here I am sure they would charge a fortune to collect too!
I reckon parcel is under 10 kg0 -

I always search for the name of the country in 'Courier & Delivery Services' in the Business Services section. Quite a large minority of my overseas parcels go over 2kg, so RM don't get that business. In fact, anything over 1.25kg within the UK goes via payperdrop now, as it's traceable and £5.99 for next day. The DHL guy calls in here now on the off chance as I have something, or someTHINGS for him almost everyday, and if he hasn't got paperwork, he thinks I was just late booking it, LOL.

Exclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0 -
Thanks for your suggestions I thought I would follow through the advice here
interparcel ..... item is too heavy just over 10 kg ..... just gone back in and hey so far getting more options than this morning, perhaps there was a glitch. Will update when I know more!
parceline ...... system wont allow booking (meaning I dont live in thier area!)
ebay couriers .... 2 listed that specified this country, but one gave a whole list of unacceptable postcodes and I live in one. Emailed another that didnt list the postcodes but they still wont entertain my parcel.
Royal Mail and Parcel are much aligned on these boards BUT they do offer a country wide service, for sending and recieving parcels.
Unless any one has anyother suggestions it looks like plan A, using global Priority, at 55 quid!0
