Is it a browser thing I wonder with certain people being in the naughty corner, or have some of you really been naughty I wonder. And I must have been good, how boring. :rotfl:

I'm using google chrome and everything seems to be ok here, I have smileys and haven't lost my quote or edit button, not that i've tried using them though.

:j Come on, who IS starting the new thread. :j

edit: Trying the edit button now, so if you see this, it's worked.

    Good morning!
Good news - the slightly varied dose seems to have worked - no nausea overnight and none of the problems of the previous two nights - just a little bit tired (from having stayed up well past my bedtime and woken up at the same time - I could go back to bed, although I'll be fine tomorrow, after I've slept tonight). A little bit achy, but that'll improve day by day.

I see toilet paper has just been mentioned - rather spookily, I'd remembered something about toilet roll and came here to post it now.

I've gone for the Andrex Eco Roll 9 (Svs T) and also seeing if I like it (rolls around a couple of times) but just to let you know, SP Toilet Rolls (the ones at 67p) were returning comparable vs T from a womble yesterday, so may knock a few pence off for you. 67p showing for T. N/A everywhere else (apart from Sada of course).

Further to above post, although smileys are OK, unable to edit !

Have fun guys, I'm away off to get my chores done.

I wonder if I can quote? Ah - I can now! But I can't do smilies (frown).

(I can may be do them if I copy and paste them from someone else's post.)

Rolls around, rolls around, rolls around. Rolls around a further three times (six in total). I'm just very amused at the randomness of it all, how it's decided some can post but not edit, others can post and edit but not quote, others can post and put smilies but not edit etc. I'm sure someone will compile a list soon of all the regulars on here together with what each of us can, or cannot, do.

Just so funny! (Roll around twice.) Although frustrating in its own way for us affected too!

Missed the second crossing too!! Clear cloud in the opposite direction:eek:
Can I ask? Am I looking at the horizon or up in the sky? Does it look like a bright star moving or like a line as in the photos posted( or is that just the way the camera captures it?) sorry if they seem like silly questions but I'm new to all this star gazing, space watching but do find it facinating...Tia

Well not content with waking me up, little man has now pinched my breakfast even though he's got the same:D kids!!

Do you have this page MtoM?

I didn't think I would see it last night for cloud, but I looked out of my bedroom window just before it passed and had a good bit of clear sky to the west, and it would have disappeared shortly after passing overhead, which would have been after it passed over my roof.
Tonight will be a great night, weather permitting. What happens when you are able to see the ISS is you see sunlight reflecting off it, so when it's as late as it was last night and it was coming from the direction of the sunset, it went into the earths shadow shortly after going over head. Tonight being 10.13 when it comes in view, it should be seen right from one side of the sky to the other. It is usually about 10 degrees above horizon at least when you first see it, but not many of us can see that low in the skyline anyway. I have been learning loads more over the last few days, and it is fascinating. You may also spot quite a few meteors from the Perseid shower.

Watch tonight in the direction you see the sun set, it should pass pretty much overhead and disappear roughly in the direction you see the sunrise. It is very easy to spot at the moment, at least 2 to 3 times as bright as the brightest star.
