YQ, do you have an emergency out of hours dental service in your area? We have one here (NHS) and ive had to use it at a weekend in the past. I did have to ring for an appointment but I was seen very quickly and they didnt rob me either !! It was a couple of years back but I paid something basic like £27 to have a tooth removed. It might be worth a look to see if there's something similar near you? You have been in pain all week :( I hope it eases soon

What FC said, the pain should have eased off by now, it definately shouldn't have got worse :(
You really should get yourself checked out hun

    Thanks for info. :A

Was hoping to use chefs pledge, finest and pie, so looks from your post I would be better using 2 finest as chefs pledge has longer expiry. ;)

Sorry didn't make myself clearer. :o Use all three. Pies plus two sides plus bottle. 1 x pies, 1 x finest and the chefs pledge.

The pain today is unbearable. Had this tooth out on monday. I know something is not right, but too worried about money to go to the dentist. I know that sounds awful, but money is a bit tight at the minute.

Hugs to all that need them today, and I guess there are a few of us. Rose, please don't feel guilty. Easy enough for us to say, but you really are doing the right thing. As someone said earlier, would your sister rather your mum was lying on the floor for hours in the dark and alone? She's in the safest place for her.

Hugs Yoghurt Queen like the others say I would go to the emergency dentist I feel sorry for you.

Can you see or ask Stan if the gap tooth was extracted from looks infected ?

Get yourself an appointment with an NHS out-of-hours dentist

as soon as possible, would be my advice.
You can also go to the A&E department of your local hospital if you are in severe pain - which it sounds like you are.

If the pain is really bad, there is every chance you could have got an infection in the tooth socket ( I know from experience as this happened to me after having a tooth out which had had an abscess). Even with the best after-care (salt water rinses) this can happen, especially if it was a bottom tooth (something to do with the blood flow) and the pain is usually worse in the night (when you lie down).

Do you not have a walk-in centre you could go to, maybe have to wait now though until the morning. Sounds like you need some antibiotics (even if you have already had a course).
