Here's my shopping for last night at sains. compared with t's. Grrrr at the clover. Lost me £2. but used £1 coupon The J20 didnt compare. It was the pear flavour . Haddock compared nicely
Had a spend £60 get £12 back so lots of sains stuff bought for bbq tomorrow. Also used pg tips, 2 j20 moc and bm was £6.85
2 J2o Pear Gold 4X275ml Ltd Ed £8.58 £6.00
Multibuy? Non-comparable
2 Clover 500G £4.00 £2.00
Multibuy? £4.00
2 Be Btp N Atlantic Haddock Fillets 280G £8.00 £2.00
1 Pg Tips Tea Bags 240'S 750G £5.68 £4.00
1 Buxton Sparkling Mineral Water 8X500ml £2.09 £1.59
1 Volvic Mineral Water 6X500ml £2.00 £1.33
I think both the J2O Pear Gold and the 500g Clover have been involved in a price changeover in T last night or the night before. The items disappear off t.com (which BM uses early on in the day) then reappear (if they reappear at all;)) on t.com later with the new price.
J2O Pear Gold is now showing as £2.14 out-of-stock for T on msm (not conclusive for BM). I can't find Pear Gold at all now on t.com, only the Apple & Raspberry, Apple & Mango, Orange & Passionfruit (I'm only considering the 4x275ml ones). These three are, for me, showing £4.29 now on t.com, not £2.14. All three are appearing on msm at £4.29 each. It looks like some of the J2O 4pk could be very good to buy in T today, as the price has just shot up - so if you see the previous lower price (or possibly multibuy) on the SEL, then v. good to buy as they are really £4.29 each (and no multibuy) and may be good comparing them to M (but this comparison is not available in Northern Ireland).
I'm going to get the J2Os that I found in M at £2.14 onto my M list!
Regarding Clover 500g, that is now showing on t.com at £2.00 each. It thus appears to have disappeared yesterday on T's website whilst changing price. Again, could be good now to be buying it in T for possible DTD - and in 2s vs Sainsbugs (did you buy this the wrong way around?). T £2.00 each Sains £2.00 any 2 for 1. T £4.00 vs S £2.00.
Other than DTD potential availability in T, I'm not sure why, if anyone has an A available to them and is not in Northern Ireland, anyone is buying Clover 500g in T or S rather than Clover 1kg Avs Morries £1.85? £1.85 and ten per cent cheaper! As opposed to 2x500g (same quantity therefore) trying to match £2.00. I don't see why you'd buy that, unless you had MOCs for Clover specifically against the 500g version only, or cashback vs the same.0 -
Just took Mum to the care home and settled her in. She is not happy as the toilet is small in her room and she has to back in with her frame to sit down. Sis came with me and went straight back as she feels guilty leaving her. Now they are all going to blame me for her being there. Feel very down now as I also have to large cold sores with all the stress.
Hugs Rose :A I know it's hard not to feel down and stressed. Your Mum is in the best place to be looked after properly. Feeling guilty at leaving her is natural and it's no-ones fault, least of all yours, that she's there.0 -

Please don't feel down rose. Your mum will get used to the different setting in no time. Let any comments from your siblings go over your head, if they wanted it any different then they could have arranged it, it will be all hot air on their part. You deserve to enjoy the much needed break hun x
Yes I know but I do feel guilty. Thanks everyone for your kind words but I feel really down now. Even thinking about having something to eat and breaking my diet! However we were brought up with Irish/Italian guilt so i am kind of used to it.0 -
Good Afternoon.
Not been pie shop today last week we didnt enjoy the pies they where dry and hardly any filling.
Mum had bought us some finest chicken and gravy pies
She got 2 boxes and said she argued with sour face tiller 0because she wouldn't take 2 £2 off coupons. Mum snatched coupon of woman and read it out loud and she said queue behind her where tutting 0 In end she got her £4 knocked off. (Mum took One pie out and give me other three saying one for me and two for her her precious Poppy 0 )
Then she had an accident was going down travelator to go for taxi she had trolley and granny bag on wheels separate both got stuff in. Then mum seemed bit unsure but near bottom she fell and trolley ended up on top of her. 0 So they stopped travelator and mum said this guy lifted her up in one swoop. They sat mum on free newspaper pile and got first aider and a bottle water. She had bruised her elbow so first aider put cool pack on it to stop the swelling. She ok now. I told her she should use the lift. I always use the lift hate that travelator it jerks nearer to bottom you get.
