i've just bought samsung galaxy ace from carphone warehouse. it has a two year guarantee and comes unlocked. it can be bought as an upgrade for 79.95. it easy to use too.

Can I ask for help from the elite with buying a smartphone too? :)
I use DHs old tocco lite and I've dropped it that many times it's ready to wave a white flag at me :o
I'd like a nice basic smart phone that runs a browser (the tocco has one but it's obviously one of the earlier ones and really slow) and that's about all it needs to do (apps would be nice but not needed as I have a tablet I take with me most places anyway).
DH also needs a new phone, he currently has a HTC wildfire but the charging socket is nearly worn out and it's a pain to charge.

I've looked around the internet but I don't understand what kind of phone is on a par with what I have now and I'd prefer to just buy 2 phones outright (we're on Ts) as we're on really cheap contracts :)
I have seen the HTC desire in store but have no idea if it's any good or not :(

Thanx to anyone for any advice they can offer :)

I sneaked mine in about 3 hours ago when she wasn't looking. Just nipped back and sneaked it out again, very neat I must say. I avoided the temptation of visiting her shed though :D

Aaaaaah, guess I snooze, I lose :rotfl:
I think I was worrying she would end up using my ironing to build a raft if the rain carried on the way it was going :rotfl:
Note to self, sneak the ironing in quicker next time :D
