  • Query, just been to Tesco's and used my 1st B1G1F Rustlers voucher on two quarter pounders, bloke got promted by the till to enter the amount so I had to pay £1 for my 2 Rustlers, what went wrong?

Is this what others had been getting as I was under the impression that they should have came out free please?

Don't know if this is store specific, but I went into a Sainsburys local store this morning, and they had 4 pint milk (any variety) and it had 50 bonus nectar points on.
I bought the 1% variety for £1, and the 50 points went straight on.
I don't know how long they're doing it for though.

  • Cancel Sky & wait for the offers - we had 3 months free everything in October, actually thinking about it it was 4 months free everything which expired end January (they said they needed good Xmas figures for their advertisers). Were stunned to have a phone call in March offering us 6months free everything - sports & movies both times.
Will be cancelling at the end of this month and hoping they will want us back (free of course) this Christmas too. If they don't we'll wait.

We do only have a Thomson Box (not a sky+ one) so we'd like to upgrade sometime but don't want to push our luck too much. Have loads of OK DVD's we bought cheaply & haven't taken watched yet.
If they don't give us another offer we'll wait & get a new box/subscription in hubbys name but only when there is a good offer/cashback available.

It's just the discovery channels we'll miss really - shame there's no way you can get them on Freeview.

that's a good deal FC, I spoke to them a week ago and saved £20 a month was the best they could do, I have movies and sports and don't want to cancel tbh but I might do temporarily until something better comes along.

best thing was, if you go through the sky dot com homepage and read the small print if you have movies and the sports package you can get the wireless box thing for free as it says it is for existing customers and new ones with movies and sports. I went and asked on live chat and followed the link, it didn't work so he gave me a no. to ring and they asked if I had a letter (nope) but I was entitled to it and have now received it for free - cheeky squeeks as they tried to get me to pay £21.50 for it the week before!!

I paid for one of those.

Then it turned out to be utterly useless because you needed to connect a phone line to watch SkyStore and you needed to have an HD subscription to watch non-HD On Demand box sets

I complained by phone, got a refund and got to keep the box. Then yesterday my sky box started up with the message "you no longer need to connect to a phone line to buy from Sky Store" :J

Some are £1 each. So if you only buy them you will pay £1 for every two

Others are £2.40 each or 3 for £4

Buy 6 and the till will ask for £8. Use 3 BOGOF Vouchers at £2.40 each and pay balance of 80p.

Or you could buy 6 @ £2.40/3F£4 deal and 2 @ £1, That would come to £10 and if you hand over 4 vouchers there is a chance that the SA might put them all through at £2.40. That would mean you only pay 40p for 8 :money:

If you bought 10 (6 @£2.40 and 4 at £1) it would come to £12. If an SA were to put through 5 BOGOF vouchers at £2.40 each you would get 12 for free ;)

    you bought the wrong rustlers...

If you buy the ones which are on offer £2.40 each or 3 for £4.

buy 6 of these ones and hand over 3 coupons, the till sees that you have paid £8 but the cashier then takes off 3x £2.40 in coupons meaning that you paid 80p for 6 burgers.
