the more i read the more confuzzled i get lol!! ok so tell me if im wrong please
1) sometimes items in tesco scan through as 1p not often but sometimes! (i assume we all run to the self scan till?)
2) it is ok to pick up tickets and collect clubcard points that have not been claimed?
3) vouchers are good but do you have to buy that item or are you able to scan it through even if you have not purchased that item?
4) collect vouchers/print vouchers become a voucher queen!
5) look out for yellow stickers!
6) i just save £60 on approved food (took ages though checking the dates are ok etc)
7) did i miss anything lol
8) thanks for a great thread and once i eventually get my head round it all i hope im as smart at shopping as you all are!
Hello & welcome
Personal view - hope others post theirs so you get a good spread of opinion .....
1) Yes - more regularly than you would expect. Stock runs down in seasonal cycles and towards the end of each cycle stuff is marked down to 4p/1pPeeps on here have a good idea of when things will reduce, or just scan, scan, scan to find out
2) Personally I don't do this and would not recommend it, but lots of peeps womble points. If you want to stay under the radar I would avoid or at least limit this activity - manually added points will flag you up to the T CC machine, and that machine can be pretty ruthless.
3) Contentious one, but I don't think it should be. I am of the Martin Lewis school of training as far as coupons are concerned - you can offer whatever you like in payment, including a coupon where you haven't purchased the product, and it is up to the retailer whether they accept it or not. This article may be interesting

As long as you are not trying to deceive, are not lying, dissembling or misrepresenting, and as long as you don't use SS machines, I understand it to be a legitimate transaction. Personally, I don't use manufacturers mocs against wrong products, that is my own line, but for me T inhouse mocs that are "open" are fair game to be hammered. But again, it is wise to keep under the radar, play the long game, use don't abuse etc. A store can ban you on a whim, which would seriously hamper future shopping trips.
4) & 5)- yes, yes and more yes. Mahooooosive savings to be made on grocery bills
6) :T never done this
7) Probably, but keep an eye on this thread and folk will fill in any gaps over time
8) amazing team on here :j0 -

Looking for a crease release spray to take on holiday, amazon want over £8, does frebreeze do the same job?
We went to Lanzarote in June and I don't take an iron with me, just roll all clothes, rather than fold and then just hang them up, they have very little creases in them. I even roll all OH shirts and he is terrible usually for needing everything ironing and even he was impressed that they didn't need it.0 -

Yes!:rotfl::rotfl: My OH thinks Im mad. My argument tonight:
I wanted to go shopping to buy lots of food and lots of wine and save lots of money with my big bundle of coupons.
You have been on the beach for 9 hours dipping a stick with string on it in the water (he doesn't like it when I call it string) and have come home with nothing to show for it.
Yup, that'll make me the mad one the one then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
