Another 1.5 lbs gone this week. My scales seem to be playing up a bit though as, first thing, the loss was a bit more than that. I made the mistake of checking again a short while later as the 2.5 loss seemed too good to be true - and my weight had one up ! Anyway, I'm well pleased as I haven't been this weight for donkeys years. I actually bought a pair of skinny jeans in the M&S Sale and they fit perfectly. DH is a bit worried about me acting my age though (the big 70 one next month).
Have been making chutneys yesterday and today - banana chutney (first time with this one and, even before it matures, it takes lovely), cucumber chutney and courgette chutney. Good job I've got lots of glitched cheese and a cracker mountain.
I am getting seriously concerned about my stashes - apart from milk and fruit/veg I have enough stock to last the two of us for several years! And thats after family and food bank have benefitted. But I can't resist giveaway prices - I need counselling.
Are you really 70? You write like a person many, many years younger.:beer:0 -

It would depend on whose sausages they where I fussy about sausages
:rotfl::rotfl:
I saw the cheap choc at weekend and waswhite choc and coffee flavoured are my favourites so I comforted myself with a block coffee choc from A's
They're good enough, I think! Look to me better than the T Eday ones - I find those look absolutely disgusting! Though I haven't tasted the ones from Lidl (missed the weekend offer sadly:(:o) - I did have the T Eday ones as a filler on one of my shops in T a long time ago but, when I saw them in the store, I couldn't even bring myself to pick them up! Cheap they are, but IMO cheap and nasty. They're the worst of the Eday Value range I've seen! In fact only these Eday Pork Sausages are what I wouldn't stoop to on the T Eday range. If anyone should disagree, they'll a filler it seems vs A only at the mo. S has its Basics ones at 80p (according to msm) and M is 65p (was last week, had been 65p for several weeks at that time) - awaiting new check, may be 65p or possible 56p now if they've watched T's price. I wouldn't risk Tvs M on them! (Or indeed anything else Tvs, given my dislike of these sausages.)0 -
I can remember getting the double pack of ds games as they had overcharged me a penny. Had a few good penny ones, steam irons spring to mind, got 2 £47.99 priced up £47.97. Certainly kept the CS on their toes during that time and spread the love wide as got very well known locally
Funny you should say that, I'm known locally as well. At T's.
Neighbours keep asking me, what's the latest deal, so I've told them all about the meal deal. I think we have enough wine between us to sink a battle ship. When our next local bbq starts (I'm hosting) I't's gonna be a good one. :beer:0 -

I want to cry. I was in a position where I could definitely finish 275 on Candy Crush, 6 moves left and one move needed, everything in the right place, and my display driver stops working and restarts, Candy Crush has disappeared and I have to restart :mad:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Correct, sadly. They're £1.89 or any 2 for £2.50 in Morries (as of last week and the week before that, probably still the same price structure:rotfl::eek::o on them in M now).0
