Hi - I'd not gone long:eek::o (having something to eat now in front of the computer).

Can someone (who is more organised than me on these sorts of things:o) diarise the date of 10th August in their diary (where else?:rotfl:) for a possible DTD and much better comp. Tosco vs Sains than currently?

Fanta Mango & Passionfruit (6x330ml) and Fanta Peach & Apricot (6x330ml) are currently £2.00 and £1.74 in T and S respectively. However, Sains. is currently on until 13/8 whereas T hopefully will end on 9/8. So look on 10/8 to see if T have shot back up to £3.49 whilst S are still £1.74 for a few days.

I'm certainly not buying them in T at £2.00 for just 26p towards the price porker. I'd rather buy them as a filler on Sains. vs A at the moment!:rotfl: But I wouldn't advise in favour of that either - instead best to wait!!:D

[Edit: also noticed more choice... same price offers for T & S and N/A in A on the 6x330ml cans of: Fanta Orange, Fanta Fruit Twist, and Fanta Orange Zero Added Sugar.]

    No worries!

And I didn't take it as such. To be honest if they were sold as all you can eat the Chinese diners were within their rights to pile the plates high, but that was just me using that phrase. Probably says more about me than them...:rotfl:

We went to vegas about 13 years ago and went to an all you can eat buffet. We were behind a lady in the food queue who put some savoury and then some dessert on her plate, I was convinced then that 'all you can eat' meant you could have what you wanted in one visit on one plate. :o Thankfully I was wrong. No idea what the woman was doing :rotfl:

I bought this today at my local with 2 Loreal coupons, it was buy 1 get 1 free. It is lovely. X

    Before Black Friday.

When Martin announced on GMTV that you could use a £6-odd dog food voucher on anything in T. The world and his dog printed out and spent loads which directly resulted in T changing their coupon policy.

Never heard about that, missed it somehow.

Well if I did something others thought were wrong I would rather be made aware and listen to the criticism (eg using caffe latte pdfs) than have people bury their heads in the sand and not tell me

Other times I'll just decide I was right :rotfl:

This is a discussion forum isn't it?

See I was using the PDFs until I saw your post and realised that the website had changed to unique numbering. It's more of a hassle generating unique coupons but it still didn't stop the trouting!

I have my line I'm comfy with and I know that I don't agree with everything that goes on but knowing that I am not whiter than white I choose not to comment on what others do. Well I may have commented on Scamps' shopping heists but then who hasn't? :p

PLB -;) Just replying to your PM :D

Here's a link to the main rant thread after it was announced in stores that from 3pm today (ie no warning on 2nd October 09) T would stop taking coupons if you hadn't bought the product. Previously they had been encouraging using coupons for anything they sold as money off your shopping.
There are other links in the thread.

The new extreme couponing thread has stirred up memories of this time for many posters.

I missed it too. It was before my time on here. I've heard so many stories about it, I wish I was there. Imagine being able to use any coupon without buying the product. Complete heaven. :rotfl:

That was fun too. We ate loads of joints of meat then! I was a newbie to this sort of thing at the time and would build up a nervous sweat waiting in the queue at CS! Oh the times have changed - I like a challenging CS these days.:rotfl:

I think most of us would have done the same at one point or another ;)
