Sad to see that we are back to the point where some are criticised for their choices re use of coupons and others are applauded. If we were to report every post where Ts & Cs of coupons were "abused" then this thread would be very empty :(

Who decides what is OK and what is not? - thought we were trying to leave the subjective judgmental stuff aside.

I love to hear how peeps have tried different combinations of mocs and which have succeeded and which have failed, which scan and which CS are happy to apply manually etc - is this all to end now and we can only post straight down the line one moc per transaction/customer type stuff?

Each person can decide what to do for themselves.

Just as you can say you think something is OK someone else can say they think its not.

Unless you are saying we all have to agree that coupons should be used against any and everything rather than intended product. In which case you are right. This thread will be very empty (because MSe will close it)

All of my Dr oetker coupons look so blinking similar (just the wee number down the left different). Wish they looked drastically different.

  • My local asda are fab with coupons. The worst I've has is them asking me for ID for te last lot of pizzas, took about 30 seconds

Just as well they don't have any of my aliases on them :rotfl:

Mine USED to be great too. However apparently someone has used a LOT of fake vouchers - probably ebay ones - for large amounts & they have been well & truly stung.

I pointed out they were safe coupons, had my name on them - same as card I was using etc. but still took them about 15mins each time to check recheck with another manager etc. Nearly told them to cancel entire shop as had frozen stuff + had left hubby in car as he can't walk + he gets syncope spells so was worried about him too.

Well maybe the two of you are right (RN and aau1) - do what you believe to be right and don't talk about what may seem wrong to others on this thread. Would that be a reasonable rule to follow?

No, you don't get the difference in price (plus 10%) back - you get a voucher for the difference (plus 10%) to use against a further shop in A (or any other retailer that will accept their APG vouchers, which is currently, I believe, only A). (I'd take payment, if I could, in APG vouchers though!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:They're effectively as good as cash if you are spending in A again, which, as a regular A shopper, you will be doing (and then doubtless not 10% cheaper again).)

They're effectively as good as cash, but only if you are spending in A again. So they're not effectively as good as cash! (That situation, where they are, only applies if you are spending in A again...):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Check you hands for red spots Savvybuyer.

It's the 2nd sign of madness.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    Asda Scanning Error 2P
I was in asda stockport this afternoon and on the end of season reductions they are selling motion sensor outdoor lights for £1 reduced from £15, and they are also selling shed door alarms reduced from £10 to £1 and finally they are selling window alarms 4 pack for 50P

Now the best thing about this if you go to self scan. these products are scanning at 2p which is even better :-D woop woop

I spotted this post just now, am tempted to pop out again.:p

Well if I did something others thought were wrong I would rather be made aware and listen to the criticism (eg using caffe latte pdfs) than have people bury their heads in the sand and not tell me

Other times I'll just decide I was right :rotfl:
