Good morning everybody, I hope you are well. Here's to a fabulous Sunday. I hope you all have a great day.

I am still resolute about not frequenting a supermarket today. We will have to see if I crack at some point.:rotfl:
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

First of all, congrats on saving to get your car! Well done!

Fuel vouchers vary from promotion to promotion, but current one in T's ends today. So it's the last day for getting vouchers.

If you look at this page:

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/zones/default.aspx?name=petrol-promotion

It lists the different categories, where buying the products listed, to the value listed, will give you a 5p off litre fuel coupon.

You can maximise the savings, by using 6 fuel vouchers at one time. The vouchers issued, are usually valid for around 2 weeks.

You can get all your vouchers in one shop, on the same product, or on different products, or do several shops, if you feel that would be more money saving for you, dpending on what products you are interested in. Best return comes from buying products that can generate a good return, either as you can target a PP against another shop, or, buy what's on offer in T's.

    For example.

Today I'm going for 6 vouchers. Stocking up on cereal ready to send back to uni with DS1.

First shop will be Jordan's Granola, 1kg, £3.29 in T's, but compare at £2 to M's. Maximising PP with 6 Granola, and some of the additional 9 items will give extra PP too. Remember you are capped at £10 PP in T's. This will give me 3 fuel vouchers. Effective cost is £2 per packet, £12 spent on cereal, 3 vouchers used on 50 litre fill up will give £7.50 saving, making the 6kg of granola £4.50

2nd shop will not be PP targeted, but weeetabix minis are on offer at £1.50. Will be buying 12 boxes, no fillers required, and will give 3 vouchers. Cost of cereal is £18. 3 vouchers used on 50 litre fuel fill up will save me £7.50, making cereal cost £10.50 for 12 boxes

    Hope this example helps.

    Good morning Elite.

The sun is back out here, hoping for a barbecue later, if the sun goes into hiding it might have to be an oven one though :D Will just have to wait and see.

DD going on holiday to Spain tomorrow, asked her to take the promised weather with her but she refused :(
