Anyone used a honeycomb system on gravel drive?

The old slabs on my drive are not looking too clever - most neighbours have had block sets put in.

I was thinking 20mm gravel and use one of the stabilising products with a honeycomb system of cells.

Seems quite expensive, but anyone actually used it?

not in a domestic situation but as emergency access road - its very good if properly installed, carried high loads and stops the gravel spreading.

main benefit is that this provides a totally porus drive solution, but stops the gravel spreading.

We've just done it (May?) and filled with topsoil & are growing grass on it.

Looks lovely & seems pretty solid.

Have seen it in use domestically and yes it does work but first I think you'll find that 20mm gravel is much too too big to fill the cells properly - 10mm would be much better and second the product you've posted the image of looks very flimsy compared with ones I've seen.
