123 account - monthly £2 charge?

Has anyone NOT had the monthly fee applied the day after (or shortly thereafter) following their statement cycle?

Mine's not been taken - why would that be?

    Maybe they like you.

As a serious answer, that hasn't happened to me, and I'd guess yours will be applied in the next day or two.

My charge gets taken about two weeks into the new monthly cycle. Others (judging by what people have posted here) get it taken almost immediately. Like the proverbial bad penny, your charge will turn up (eventually).

Think of all the extra interest you will earn from those two quid staying longer in your account. :D

Noticed that too. The last time I was charged the monthly fee was more than 2 months ago. Which means I'm richer by 4 quids! For now..

As am I, and I have cashback/interest this month! :D

I'm sure they'll get it eventually!

I haven't paid account fees in 20 years. Throughout every 12 month perio dI make sure I accumulate a series small problems (get everything noted down by call centre staff, or lose!), and then come the end of the 12 month period I call and blow up at staff. Or perhaps I go into the branch if I'm feeling extroverted. End result, it is only a click of the button for the right individual to waive all kinds of fees.

Stand up for your rights, and don't let these banks charge you money!!!! They are making a killing on all of our credit cards and fees, while investing our savings for huge growth.

Down with bank fees. Up with assertive individuals.

    Peace and love! :)

    Troll.....

Account fees - this account hasn't been open for 20 years.
Blow up at staff - no way you've got that to work for 20 years.
Waive fees - not if they're an integral part of your account.
Banks have huge growth - wrong.
Down with bank fees - not if they're good value accounts like the 123.
Peace and love - contradicts assertive individuals and you blowing up at staff.
