Just Add Fuel (or similar) no deposit???
Hi all,
I am looking to get myself a car on the Just Add Fuel scheme or with something very similar. eg insurance included etc
Unfortunately i can not afford the deposits they are currently asking for. Is there anywhere around that may do a deal like this but with a very small or no deposit??
I haven't got the worlds greatest credit rating so i feel that may be a stumbling block anyway
If anyone could help, or point me in the right direction that'd be great
Thanks

If you are gonna struggle to afford the deposit and have credit issues, it might be best to steer clear of these schemes.0

Sounds like the O/P is far too close to their own limits to be considering a finance commitment0 -
If you can't save even a meagre deposit, how are you going to make any repayments?0

I can't afford a deposit because the deposits are around 2000 pounds etc... the monthly repayments are a fraction of that, for example £179 per month, which i can infact afford...0

So save the £179 for 12 months and you will have the deposit. Easy.0

Two thoughts:
1) Do these sort of deals appeal because you are a young and/or inexperienced driver, such that insurance would be very expensive and you think this is a good way of saving on that? If so, check the small print of the deals to see if you would actually be eligible, you may well find you aren't.
2) Any sort of 'just add fuel' 'deal' will only be available on a new car (to the best of my knowledge anyway). New cars are to my mind at least very much an expensive luxury. As by your own admission you already have credit history issues I would strongly recommend that you look at purchasing a much cheaper second hand car. Ideally one you have saved up to buy outright.0
