Parents UK coach holiday

Appologies if in wrong place, looking to vent and maybe advice

My parents are currently on holiday with one of the bigger coach holiday companies in the UK.

This week it is their Wedding Anniversary 40+ years and we wanted to try and make this holiday special for them. After eventually getting the name of where they were staying the hotel they are staying with have been amazing. They have got some extra's that we have paid for but also the hotel has given them extras for free.

The actual coach company have been the total opposite, will not budge on anything. Even a simple banner on the day is beyond them as "its a good value holiday".

Are the days of companies going out of their way gone?

Please be aware that we were willing to put our hands in our pocket as we did with the hotel, but no they are simply not interested.

The company could be different than the driver . ask the hotel to ask the driver .
