I can't quite get it yet either, but, given what you have said it wants more than a bit of expanding foam.
It needs the drain correcting so there is only a straight run through the wall and it want bricking back up and plastering.
As someone else said, having any pipe running into a garage is dangerous, maybe not at present but if it ever does return to it's initial use.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
OP might find it better to connect w/m outlet to kitchen sink waste and make the wall good. No pipe through the wall and easy disconnect for moving. Will know if this is practicable when he moves in.
Lots of pipe/fittings available. Example here.0 -
Take the U bend out. I have done this and have suffered no problems.
The outpipe on washing machines is usually fixed, it's the in pipe that screws.
Would be interesting to see pictures when you have moved in though.0
