Roxborough phone call

Options
I've just had a phone call from Roxborough with regards to an outstanding invoice for non display of a parking ticket back in February. Just wondering if this is standard procedure for them to phone and what is likely to be their next step. Thanks in advance.

    Entirely normal.

Inviting them to reverse up their own fundament is also standard. Their next move, if you haven't already received them, is a selection of threatening letters which fail to state that they have no legal power whatsoever beyond those powers that you and I also enjoy.

One presumes that you have been "ignoring" a parking charge for some time. Care to identify which company?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Thanks for the reply. Its excel and yes I have been ignoring them and told them in the telephone conversation that I do not intend to pay. After ignoring the initial letter from roxborough and then the solicitors letter, I was invited to settle the debt at a lower rate by roxborough. Obviously I chose to ignore that letter too.

If you look at the old archive 'PPC letter chains' (pre-October link on the sticky of the same name) then you will see a section 'have fun with them' about Roxburghe phone calls. It's listed under one of the PPCs which uses the Roxburghe letter chain I think.

Or search this forum for keywords 'Roxburghe phone calls' or Google 'Roxburghe phone calls debt is denied'. Make sure you spell Roxburghe correctly in the searches, not as in your post above! :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I did do a search but couldn't find anything. Now I know why. Many thanks.
