in Credit cards
I have returned from living in NZ for 18 months and still have balances on 2 credit cards over there with the ASB bank. Can I transfer the balances onto a UK credit card? I was hoping to be able to do so to a 0% balance transfer credit card as currently it's costing me a fortune.

You can't BT directly. What you need is a 'super balance transfer' card, allowing 0% cash transfers into your current account...from where you can settle the foreign debt.

So, YorkshireBoy, I apply for a super balance transfer card, then ask them to transfer ££££ into my current account. I then transfer the money straight to the cards in NZ. I then pay off the card at 0% interest. Am I understanding correctly?0
